VSCO is an art and technology company empowering people everywhere to create, discover, and connect. The brand is most notably known for its photo editing app (which is probably the best free app available in my opinion) and recently, VSCO released its first video editing tool on iOS. Just like with photos, users can apply presets and customize video on their phones. With the new evolution, the company launched a marketing campaign that pushes its creative brand mantra.

Taken from the company’s website:

“As humans, we’re compelled to create. It’s in our DNA. It may not always be pretty, it may not always be easy, but it’s our fundamental response to life. Creativity isn’t limited to an artistic class; it’s the radical expression of each person’s voice in this world. It takes different forms, a mad juxtaposition that reflects the individual’s own unpredictable, winding path. It isn’t limited to the polished aspects of life, but embraces all facets of human existence, the ups and downs, the loud and quiet.”

I love what VSCO represents. It encourages us to share our unique perspectives and let our wild, creative tendencies to flourish. We all can see the same things, but how we see them can be vastly different. VSCO’s new campaign centers around the motto “We the Creators”, which focuses on creators being a community. We’re the ones shaking things up. We’re the one making the world a more interesting place. And as a community, the creators are the source for innovation.
