Time seems to crawl at a sedated pace in Hawaii. 7 days on the islands felt like a month, but I wasn’t complaining. I enjoyed waking up bright and early to the aloha of the simmering sun with nothing on my day’s agenda. The best parts about Hawaii are hidden, held in secret and discovered only through local gossip. From secret beaches to alcoves, it felt relieving to be somewhere untouched by the tainted hands of American commercialism. Sunsets are like an anticipated ceremony. Everyone finds a comfortable seat and enjoys Mother Nature’s symphony.
