The Bay Area is my native home: born in San Jose, raised in Milpitas, and roamed throughout all parts of the region, however it doesn’t always feel like “home” anymore. Maybe my ambitions got too big or the the Bay Area scene no longer intrigued me. Everything felt too safe and normal. I moved to Los Angeles when I was 25 and it exposed me to a world that the Bay Area isn’t. It had edge, it was over the top, it had creative energy. LA gave me a glimpse of what I could be.
