Rolls-Royce is not only one of the most prestigous car brands in the world, its also one of the most popular brands in pop music. The British carmaker was mentioned in 11 top-20 songs over the last 3 years, which is more than any other brand. Rolls-Royce’s models like the Phantom and Wraith have become favorites among rappers, so it’s no suprise it’s getting some significant name drops. Recently the brand linked up with one of UK’s top artists, Skepta, for a ride in its new V12 Phantom VIII.

Skepta is chauffeured through the Swiss Alps, but instead of relaxing in the lap of luxury, the grime star composes and records an entire song, appropriately titled “Skepta RR.”

“I stepped in the car and there was no need to think,” said Skepta, “It was like sitting in first class on a plane minus the noise. Comfortable and silent, a perfect space to make music.” Watch the experience below.
