Los Angeles is the creative capital of the world. As home to a growing creative community and the largest manufacturing hub in America, LA is where new ideas are born and made every day. LA Original provides a platform to showcase the city’s diverse makers and promote locally designed, assembled, or manufactured goods through a line of LA-branded products—with proceeds supporting creative entrepreneur programs across Los Angeles. LA Original was actually launched by the office of Mayor Eric Garcetti and all proceeds from the program will support local creative entrepreneur programs

To generate awareness for the cause, LA Original enlisted ad agency 72andSunny to help produce a commercial that celebrates home-grown creativity and industry. The features a number of local heroes like Kendrick Lamar, Brian Woo, and Roy Choi, in addition to local businesses like Chocolatiers Compartes, Snapchat,  Lone Wolfs. Check out the video below. Agency 72andSunny beat out hundreds of others Also, be sure to swing by the website and peep the goods on sale.
