We’re freezing our ass off in New York City, so why not partake in some warm West Side vibes with Dre Day NYC. It’s an annual event presented by the folks at Good Peoples that celebrates the legendary Dr. Dre and West Coast hip hop. This year’s Dre Day actually falls on the good doctor’s birthday on February 18th. The party will be held at Kinfolk 94 in Brooklyn and features a DJ lineup of  Nick Catchdubs (Fool’s Gold Records), Prince Klassen (Turntable Lab), and Project Matt that will be spinning the classics all night. Expect great music  and ton of California transplants, which always means a great time out where people actually dancing (disclosure: I’m from California and one of my biggest gripes of NYC nightlife is the lack of dancing).
