Majid Al Maskati and Jordan Ullman, collectively known as Majid Jordan, are quickly becoming the next big act out of Toronto, which has become a hotbed for music over the last few years. As part of Drake’s OVO Sound label, Majid Jordan has earned recognition and a strong fanbase after writing one of Drake’s most successful singles “Hold On We’re Going Home” and releasing their EP A Place Like This in 2014 (which is awesome if you haven’t heard it yet). Last week, the duo just released their first studio album Majid Jordan and its very strong project that showcases their dynamic ability to produce both dance infused and moody/ vibe out records. Complex recently interview Majid Jordan to learn more about their humble beginnings, how they met Drake, and their musical ambitions. Check out the video below and Majid Jordan’s self titled debut album.
