Legendary streetwear brand A Bath Ape will be celebrating the 10th anniversary of its New York store on April 23rd. Ever since its inception in 1993 by Nigo, BAPE has become an icon in street and urban culture with its limited edition apparel, being worn by some of the most influential celebrities, artists, and musicians. It’s not surprise that the 10th anniversary will include some of BAPE’s well known friends (Pusha T, Travi$ Scott, Futura, Stash). BAPE went corporate and got sold to a Hong Kong fashion conglomerate for $2.8 million (that’s it?) in 2011. Nigo is no longer the controlling head of the brand, so it may not have possess the same hype as it did  before, but you can’t hate on what BAPE has done for streetwear in the past. The party will be held at the ultra hip Up & Down. Try RSVPing through the email on the flyer, but don’t expect confirmations to come easy.
