To celebrate the launch of his newest collaboration with adidas Originals, Pharrell visited the Superstar Experience in SoHo to surprise 50 high school artists who were invited to customize their own pair Superstars that would become part of a special art installation displayed in the space. The students were selected based on their passion for art, design and fashion from three different NYC schools: High School of Fashion Industries, Harlem School of the Arts, and The Avenues. While the young guests were designing, Pharrell arrived that the venue to welcoming shrieks and photos. He gave the artists a little pep talk on creativity and self expression, then proceeded to up and coming singer Raury, who talked about following your dreams and staying dedicated to what inspires you. Pretty cool of Pharrell, and dude still looks like he’s been 25 for the last decade. You can check out his collabo with adidas here.
